Greetings:
My name is Marcelo Vignali. I am a freelance
commercial artist. For over a decade I have been a designer for
the Walt Disney Company, using my skills as an artist to assist
both in Walt Disney's theme parks and also in Walt Disney's feature
length animated films. Before working with Disney, I worked at
various other well known animation studios, and also as a freelance
illustrator. I received my formal education as an illustrator
at Otis Art Institute of Parson's School of Design, and have
been working as a professional commercial artist since 1985.
I am a conceptual visual stylist and conceptual
designer. I assist in the development of projects with my unique
and diverse skills, including the creation and conceptualization
of characters and environments, along with creative problem solving
and a capacity to create a variety of consistent visual styles.
My professional experience has prepared me
with many skills. Having worked in animation, I've been able
to develop a strong sense of two dimensional design along with
a production quality refinement in my background work and in
my character designs. Having worked on theme parks, I have been
able to develop a keen sense of spatial awareness for interactive
environments, and a sensitivity to practical and economic feasibilities.
Having worked in various large corporate environments, I have
been able to develop my skills a team player, assisting on projects
from their inception with my creative solutions and strong communication
skills.
But most importantly, I bring QUALITY artwork,
ENTHUSIASM and CREATIVITY, along with experienced professional
service. Good draftsmanship is the capstone of my abilities.
Have a look at my online portfolio, and see what I can offer
your company! I you are interested in seeing a more complete
